Vilma Matuleviciute

MSc, DIP Herb., ND, BCST, MIRH

I am a herbalist, naturopath and CranioSacral therapist, living in Ireland for 18 years and practicing for 11 years.  I studied in the College of Naturopathic Medicine for four years where I qualified as a Naturopath and Herbalist.

I have a Master’s degree in Herbal Medicine, through the University of Westminster, London.

I am a senior lecturer of herbal medicine and naturopathy in the CNM where I am also a clinic supervisor for the student clinics.  I am currently chairperson for the Irish Register of Herbalists (IRH).  I am also very interested in writing articles, giving talks and the educational aspect of naturopathy and herbalism.

I am a trained CranioSacral therapist and have trained up to Advanced-1 level, as well as in Paediatrics-CranioSacral therapy for babies and children. Advanced courses like Therapeutic Imagery & Dialogue, CranioSacral Therapy around Death and Dying and several advanced Biodynamic CranioSacral therapy courses across Europe (Italy, UK, and Switzerland) lead to in-depth explorations of human emotions, stress, pains and physical or emotional trauma and deepened the understanding of how simple hands-on support for a body can lead to a profound healing. I find the combination of these all different learning experiences and therapies inmy  practice invaluable.

Consultation usually lasts about one hour. A thorough case history will be taken with tongue and pulse examination. Iridology (examining the irises) may be used and assessment of lifestyle, diet and advice and supplement recommendations.
